Rovescio Della Medaglia – Live in Tokyo
Rovescio Della Medaglia was formed in the 70’s and in this period he released some albums, among which the third and the best known Contaminazione; the arrangements of this album were made by M° Luis Enriquez Bacalov. The work refers to the symphonic prog rock genre and was rarely performed live and never with orchestra (except in playback), as the band remained active only until 1976.
Rovescio Della Medaglia returns in 2011 and then in 2013, forty years after the release of Contaminazione, the band comes with a new line-up composed of Enzo Vita (one of the historic members), Daniele Pomo, Massimo Pomo, Maurizio Meo, Riccardo Romano and participates in the Italian Progressive Rock Festival in Tokyo. On this occasion the CD Live in Tokyo and Contaminazione is recorded, re-proposed with some small variations that make the work more modern and current, it is finally performed live and with orchestra.
Live in Tokyo is the album of the return to the scenes of the Roman prog band that is now ready to revive fans of the genre the typical sounds that have made it famous.
