PFM – PFM canta De André

20,90

1978 and 1979 were the years of the historic tour Fabrizio De André and PFM; that show then became a double album, still today a milestone in the discography of Italian songwriting. Today, after thirty years and after the extraordinary success of the last tour, PFM decided to propose in a CD and DVD the most significant songs of that event. The arrangements of the songs reread by the band, now entered the collective imagination, have become for many the official version of Faber’s songs: Bocca di rosa, Il pescatore, Un giudice, Giugno 73 is an example of how poetry and rock can merge into a strong musical embrace, so much so that the author has kept those versions in all his subsequent tours. The notes are the same and the interpretation unchanged, just like the score of a great work of popular music delivered to the time. The voices of Franz Di Cioccio and Franco Mussida interpret the role of the poet, without rhetoric of comparisons, but with the passion and admiration that is due to a master. PFM canta De André is a tribute to Faber and is the first visual document of those songs to listen, see and enjoy under the stage of your screen.
