21 July 1990 – To celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall, between Potsdamer Platz and the Brandenburg Gate, Roger Waters, leader of Pink Floyd from ’68 to ’84 and great lyricist, staged The Wall Live, one of the most spectacular rock concerts in history. He was joined by Scorpions, Bryan Adams, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Gary Hudson, Ute Lemper, Sinead O’Connor, Marianne Faithfull and Cyndi Lauper.
